Villa Canello
Villa Canello, a happy example of neoclassical architecture, was designed in the eighteenth century to be the elegant residence of the homonymous family.
The red main body, arranged on three levels overall, is characterized by a higher central tympanum, which is connected with the rest of the façade through two baroque volutes, and by obelisk-shaped pinnacles on the ends of the roof. It is located behind the fortress of Castelvecchio, in the locality of Costa and at the entrance of the ancient road “of the pastures” which descends towards the village of Allocco.
